@appaloosa62@RpsAgainstTrump As an American who lives in London I can confirm Trump is viewed as a joke. Even conservatives here are shocked that, as they tell it, “the smartest country in the world would elect such a moron”.

‘The general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.'

@themerryking@RepAOC That’s exactly right. In practice, however, that’s not the case. Gerrymandering continues to be an issue that eats away at the integrity of the structure.
@MasteredTrader “Several millionaires on the bus” smh. Love when I ride the bus and folks start tossing around their net worth before discussing market manipulation* 🙄
@RepAOC Silly comments. The crux of the issue is representation. Take Texas and Wyoming. If each Texan were given one vote in the senate, their Wyoming counterparts would get 52. That’s an issue when making national policies no matter how you slice it.
@RepAOC DC should have representation. It boils down to the senate. Wyoming is the least populated state and is over represented in the senate. That should not be the case and the R’s don’t want to see DC have the undue influence Wyoming does.
Neither should have two senators
@Cointelegraph Blind trusts, or indexes. This would encourage their policy making to benefit the economy as a whole rather than tailor made legislation benefiting only themselves and the company/lobbyist in question
@hankgreen As someone who has had a love-hate relationship with Elon I vibe with this comment.
I appreciate the dedication to SpaceX and the revolution that is Tesla. That being said, some of the comments he makes are so absurd it hurts
@lisabarri2@dcadla@JaredDucote@jacksonhinkle@IlhanMN Big yikes. If what you provided is “proof” I fear for your future legal career.
Real talk, it’s worth considering sources. I’d highly recommend Reuters, the Economist, AP… should be able to help you get your head on straight.
Also, it’s you’re*
@WSJ@WSJopinion To stay competitive with our global adversaries and allies, it is imperative that we have an educated, intelligent population.
Rather than banning books and manufacturing cultural outrage to turn out low educated voters, we should fund our schools and support our teachers.
