Using the internet these last weeks, has been so overwhelmingly sad. Women are dying every day, girls are not spared. This is femicide and it’s worst In Nigeria because the killers are getting away with it. It really breaks my heart. These women deserve better.

Yesterday made it one month since a South African woman was hit in the face with a brick by a man for rejecting his advances. She lost her left eye; had them surgically removed and will now have to wear prosthetic eyes for life.

It is a universal experience.

I came here, saw the news of the 15 year old girl, and what I felt was exhaustion. I’m so exhausted. I feel so numb. The discussion on the TL feels so repetitive, feminists always have to say the same thing anytime a woman is killed by a man. I am really tired. I am.
