This is really disgusting.
It's an insult to the plethora of actual Conservatives that voted for and supported Caroline from across the country, it implies they were liberals for supporting "liberal lobbyists", and a real leader would know better than to make that implication.
@klyphnelson@by__brittany@PierrePoilievre@KerryLynneFindl I would have preferred Caroline Elliot as I am not a fan of the reactionary right wing populism that has replaced conservatism in recent years. I could still be fine with Poilievre or Kerry Lynne Findlay if them or their people didn't try to bury the conservative base.
Dimitri, ask around about this:
The CPC convention in Calgary was after the Conservative BC Leadership race started.
Caroline Elliott was the only candidate for BC Conservative Leader who was a) at the convention and b) verbally on the record supporting Pierre Poilievre before the vote took place and, And, AND THE ONLY BC CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP CANDIDATE WHO WENT AND STOOD NEXT TO HIM before the vote.
No other candidate took a photo or video endorsing Pierre before the vote.

Pierre knows the jig is up and all of a sudden, he's now a WESTERNER! (not the 20-year MP from Ottawa Ontario who's never held a real job, or met a payroll).
Half of his campaign team are "eastern lobbyists" and many of his MPs were also eastern lobbyists and consultants.
He doesn't have the votes nor the power as leader to kick Jivani out of caucus - because he wanted to recently - and was told by Scherer and Warkentin that he didn't have the votes.
People forget, two of his MPs were hiding behind the curtains during the budget vote while he was huffing and puffing about bringing the government down.
He never had a problem with me over 20 years while we made calls, did data work, helped him build a database and conducted research for him in his eastern riding and was winning.
🤷🤷🤷
@PierrePoilievre can go fuck himself.
I've gone from being a big supporter, to being disappointed, but still a supporter.
Now, he's gone out of his way to make me his opponent.
Idiot.
He gains nothing poking current CPC voters in the eye.
Zero critical thinking going on.
Yet, his head is so fucking big in all his photos... 🤷
If you’re the big man in the room, you don’t have to take pot shots at provincial leadership candidates and their staffers. It’s a choice and a piss-poor one at that. It’s all in the same vein as unveiling a new shadow cabinet while failing to include any of them in the comms. He wants it all to be the Poilievre show, even if it means we continue to flail about in the polls. He doesn’t have so many friends that he can pick these fights nowadays.
Today in Calgary, Premier @ABDanielleSmith and I unveiled the proposed route of the Northern Shield Energy Corridor.
This new pipeline, built with Canadian steel, would bring Alberta oil to Ontario refineries along a Canadian route, supporting good-paying jobs, protecting Canadian sovereignty and security, and building a more united Canadian economy.

@DRodbone I wasn't expecting the same brain damage that is present in the CPC to be present with the liberals over 2 people being in the same photo as each other at an event who hold different views.
Thank you to @USAmbCanada for a lovely 4th of July event celebrating 250 years of American Independence and for your remarks about 159 years of friendship and collaboration with Canada. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre hands out Canada flags in his rural Alberta riding, in a room with pro-separatists also in attendance
His message on Canadian unity was well received. No one denied the flag
One local told him to turn up the heat on promoting a united Canada
@RealAlbanianPat NDP in AB.
The hard part is coming to terms with the actual likelihood of this happening.
I saw it coming the second Smith won her first review.
This👇 is word for word the case that I and other Albertans have been making for years.
Fellow Albertans: well done! We have won the argument about the need to expand Canada's energy industry!
Yes, words are necessary but not sufficient. We need to see them turned into real, tangible projects.
But we should celebrate the progress we have made, and take "yes" for an answer.
Great news! Finally, FID on a major data centre in Alberta.
With super cheap natural gas feedstock, plus cold weather and a stable regulatory environment, Alberta is the ideal place to build data centres to power the future digital economy.
A perfect Alberta marriage of natural resources and tech, data centres will allow us to monetize our gas without the cost & time of shipping / LNG.
Over time, the increased demand will mean increased price for our gas, leading to long term demand for job creating upstream exploration & development.
“Whatever you do, adhere to the union. We are a great country, and shall become one of the greatest in the universe if we preserve it.”
(Sir John A Macdonald)
Let us celebrate, unite and build Canada. Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
@lukin2006@UberJumper@TWilsonOttawa -The prime minister is voted in by the party that surrounds him.
-You vote for your MP that represents you, that results in who you get as PM.
The senate may be appointed, but by a person that is elected.
Pretty democratic to me. It is called representative democracy by design.
