1/7 Not a pitch—an opportunity. The core shift is simple: move from Money being invested to Opportunities being created, and from outside-economy dependence to inside-economy Market Expansion.
The Economic & Employment Breakthrough framework has been submitted, referred, acknowledged, and classified—in writing—as intergovernmental in nature across all three spheres of government.
What still prevents a clear public decision on the way forward?

@JeffBezos Space and human need are not opposites. The deeper bottleneck is economic participation: turning unmet demand-and-supply needs into visible, usable opportunities that drive growth and jobs. That’s a practical way to help people now.
A formal non-commercial growth-and-jobs framework naming Cape Town/Western Cape as the starting point and South Africa as the broader rollout path has already been submitted. It was acknowledged and redirected, but still has no substantive public response.
If the same amount of money keeps producing less development and fewer jobs, the system may be optimizing the wrong variable. The deeper shift is from money injection to opportunity creation.
One underexplored infrastructure layer is economic participation: inclusive digital infrastructure linking commercial opportunities to formal and informal communities in ways that can drive Market Expansion, growth, and jobs.
South Africa is not just a crisis to manage. It may be the proving ground for a different economic path—starting in Cape Town and the Western Cape, where a practical entry point for implementation can take shape.
Too many people are without work. Too many businesses are under pressure. If the same money keeps producing less growth and fewer jobs year after year, the current model is underperforming. The issue may be the economic logic itself.
This did not start yesterday. The “new economic model” was already being presented publicly in 2019 at the NTT DATA Open Innovation Contest. What matters now is not whether the idea is new, but whether the right people are ready to take it to implementation.

Elon Musk: "People get confused sometimes they think an economy is money , But money is a database
for the exchange of goods and services and for time-shifting the exchange of goods and services. Money is a database. Money does not have power in and of itself
You can run the thought experiment: if you are shipwrecked on a remote island and you have a trillion dollars in a Swiss bank account, "it's worthless"
You’d rather have a can of soup. You can have all the Bitcoin in the world and you’re still going to starve
The actual economy is goods and services”
