@heroicslug@l0st_inl0v3@LivelySilas@DC_1712@tufpraise Was the child the aggressor? How about the apartment building ICE caused ~$300K in damages?
Majority of civilians were innocent, and got hurt due to the egos of people you’re trying to defend.
Most citizens, the mayor, and local law enforcement in Portland do not support ICE.
@heroicslug@l0st_inl0v3@LivelySilas@DC_1712@tufpraise It was a memorial bike ride with a route ending at an ICE facility for peaceful protest. Doesn't excuse ICE.
Which is why the mayor of Portland wanted ICE removed, tear gas use was initially banned in the city, and ICE is being sued for damage of property. They sound dangerous.
@PlayStation Then stop selling digital games for the same price as physical ones too. You're removing the printing, box, and shipping prices from the equation completely so I shouldn't be paying $70 for digital games anymore.
@Eternal22207017@honchojc@dscottplays@charlieINTEL The game costs more because enough people will pay at the "value" they want. Which is the highest market cost for a base game edition.
That's not some selfless act of "making it affordable." They charged as much as the market dictated they could. Other studios couldn't before.
@Eternal22207017@honchojc@dscottplays@charlieINTEL Exactly, and that has been my main concern. I've already seen reports that preorders grossed ~$3M. If true, that $2M budget was nothing.
If profit is always guaranteed, there's not much stopping them charging more the next time and the next. However long in between games lol
@honchojc@dscottplays@Eternal22207017@charlieINTEL I understand. We all have games we love, and that love gives more value to them. GTA5 wasn’t worth $60 to me, but it was worth the $30 I spent.
My worry is usually what the higher IP studios do with that “value.” Especially when their profit margins are essentially guaranteed.
@TEXENT210@thenashonj@emilyofeasttx@ChristySeguin To be fair, I saw the same link in a tweet that got updated like hours later with confirmations from the Zoo it wasn’t found yet. Gotta be safe with the information we receive these days.
