Foerster, York, Drysale (via Gauthier), Tippett, Cates, Bump, Konecny, Sanheim - all players who were acquired prior to Briere/Jones.

Briere and Jones did what was necessary the past 3 yrs to get this team on track, but lets not act like they took over a roster absent of talent.

Idk if he'll get back to his 50 plus near 60 goal scoring again, but he can still be a legitimate threat in a different environment

All things considered, PHI played a hell of a game last night. Went toe to toe with arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference.

These are valuable games of experience for young teams - even in losing efforts.
