I placed 11th in my category for the NYC Midnight 500-Word Fiction Challenge — just one spot shy of the next round! Considering there were hundreds (maybe thousands) of entries, I’m incredibly proud of that.

@EdmontonFire Yesterday my wife and I had the pleasure of bringing our Summit Service Dog to the open house at Station 26. It's about a half an hour walk from our house and would make a perfect destination for regular walks. Are we welcome to just stop in at random? Or no?
Here's a quick listen. I finished this book on a walk tonight. I didn't learn anything new, but a lot of great reminders, inspiration and quotes.
