Dad passed a couple of weeks ago. 92 y/o, USAF retired. Korea and Vietnam wartime deployments. Bronze Star. Those mean little to us. He was ready to go, but we still miss him. Hug your dad, or whatever father figure you have.
@7why__ydm Anyone who falsely accuses someone of a crime should be sentenced to the same term their accusation would have garnered the accused had it been true.
@ronrule Not really. The problem is that post WWII, more women remained in the workforce. 2 income families inflated prices for everyone making it a fait accompli that more families would be forced to follow suit. The law of unintended consequences strikes again.
@TheEXECUTlONER_ As with any accusation like this, we need guardrails in place so a clearly false claim results in a similar punishment for the accuser.
@GrageDustin Primaries should all be closed. Cost and logistics handled by the party.
Our current primary systems are twisted to allow others to cross and pick the candidates.
@ZillennialApple How are teachers punished? Don't touch the kids, don't touch the money, don't come to work drunk too often. You have to really try to get fired as a teacher.
@SeinfeldTeacher@jenteach13 Yes. Frankly, districts should be putting every kid like that in a remedial program away from the younger kids and focus on the basics...like a catchup GED to get them back on grade level.
Punting just makes it worse.
