@Ofc_im_right@Blacknatwatch@reddit_lies What idiot streamer put "stochastic terrorist" into every liberal's mouth?
As if a guy who never so much as hinted at violence or destruction could be called a terrorist.
@DanielAverbuck@fleshsimulator When people make dumb claims about race he replies really well out of nowhere with stats/research debunking them.
People started cropping the top of his avatar like this just looming the way that grok reply is, enough times that there are big compilations of them.
@GPrime85 That's a stance Ramachandran made a lot: "The point of art is not realism, but controlled exaggeration."
He has a few old neuroscience lectures on youtube with research about about art and the brain. It's interesting stuff.
@PubWanghaf This but bottles. We get into so many damn fights about whether the bottles are clean.
Yes, I used a lot of soap.
Those are water spots, not milk residue.
Fuck.
@Slatzism The odds of a straight man contracting HIV from vaginal sex with an infected woman are about 1 in 2,500. It basically is just the gay disease because it's so improbable to spread otherwise.
@LaNativePatriot Chud seems like he matches the energy of who he's interacting with.
When people are respectful he's totally respectful back regardless of their race. It's when they get aggressive that he pushes back the same way.
@lowenpick@ShitpostRock2 This is the case in a lot of creative pursuits. When you get semi-skilled in something, the other crabs in the bucket get jealous you showed initiative and try to shit on it.
Best to limit online interaction and just work with people in real life. Strangers aren't encouraging.
@YeeHawTonk2@MikeyNohMore In Shinsekai Yori everybody has telekinesis, but only one figured out how to use it to extend her telomeres as her cells divide and basically give herself eternal youth.
The applications are endless if you really put your mind to it.
@lowgradef I appreciated Medusa because the creator didn't even bother with "complexity."
No misguided goals.
No tragic backstory.
No greater cause.
She's just evil because she's a sadistic witch who likes lying and hurting people for fun. It's great.
@revenant_MMXX@LadiesOfReddit The question of whether lesbians are real seems so bizarre, but research keeps pointing in the same direction.
Men tend to go either straight or gay, whereas women are more bisexual across the board.
This is the funniest title I've ever read.
@inkfycreates I'm not opposed to AI images, but passing them off as your own work made from scratch feels childish.
I remember tracing manga panels as a kid and pretending I drew them to appear impressive, but you kinda grow out of that by the time you're 12.
@PanOfSeamen@fleshsimulator Violence doesn't just spring up to fill a vacuum.
The vast majority is committed by a minuscule portion of the population constantly reoffending (because they're not in prison).
If you're commiting a violent crime, there's an extremely slim chance that's you're first rodeo.
@WesleyCorbett@StefanMolyneux Free will is about moral responsibility. It's why you'd treat differently someone who hit you on purpose vs. someone suffering a seizure who hit you by mistake.
We all implicitly acknowledge being in control of our actions brings a unique kind of culpability.
@StayDrunkI@MeltingSnowBro In terms of economic efficiency, it's much better than a monopoly because there's no deadweight loss; different parties are just spreading out the same surplus by way of price discrimination, selling to those more willing to pay.
It's weird, but scalpers are an efficiency wash.
@StefanMolyneux I interpret "existing outside time" to mean the same way an author is "outside" a book he wrote. The past/future of characters in the story are not meaningful to the author. He exists beyond them, and can tweak around with any points he likes.
@CWEeditor@ShefUrp@MrReaganUSA I thought it was a skit at first, but she doubled down repeatedly in replies. She 100% had a brain fart on musician/magician and tried to save face.
@GideonHideon@Grummz Same here. The Witness seemed so disrespectful of my time I felt like it was a practical joke. Was surprised to find out it was the Braid guy who did it.
@jackson77228301@jensenjeans Control/competing group performance is similar, but when performance is directly tied to money, people make more errors across all kinds of tasks--mistakes being costly seems distracting.
Also, try simple problems first and complex ones later. May strengthen performance in both.
