My recent experience as a guest on The Late Night Show with Rita Brent was truly remarkable. The production team behind the show demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, coordination, and creativity. The logistics were seamless, and witnessing the talented individuals working behind the scenes—each contributing their expertise with precision and pride—was phenomenal. Their dedication is a testament to the strength of local talent in our community.
Being on the show brought about genuine laughter, transparency, and meaningful one‑on‑one engagement with Ms. Brent. Sharing that moment with her, in front of an energetic and supportive audience, was both entertaining and refreshing. The Capri Theater in historic Fondren served as the perfect venue—warm, accommodating, and rich with cultural significance.
I have long admired and respected Rita Brent—her work, her voice, and her extraordinary talent. She is the epitome of homegrown Mississippi excellence. I shared with her personally how proud I am of her journey and her continued success. It is vital that we uplift and stand behind individuals like Rita, whose creativity and dedication shine so brightly.
This experience reaffirmed the importance of celebrating our own, investing in local talent, and supporting the creative voices that help shape the identity of Hinds County and beyond.
