Little River Boys Basketball (1A Div. 1 🏀)
The Redskins are 15-1 on the season following last night's win over Canton-Galva. The team is ranked #1 in class 1A Division 1, and is lead by 2 seniors.
Rylee Hackmann of Sports in Kansas was in town today, and caught up head coach Eric Base, and players Jaxson Konen, Jaren Garrison, Ty Janette. We will hear from them tomorrow.

Little River (8M-I) senior Jaxson Konen came up big in the Redskins’ Regional win over previously undefeated Lyndon last Friday. Konen rushed for 193 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also adding a passing TD in the victory. On the season, Konen has been a true dual-threat, throwing for 681 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 613 rushing yards and 12 scores on the ground. Little River now turns its focus to a Sectional matchup with Sylvan Lucas as they look to keep their postseason run alive. #sportsinkansas

Little River headed to 1A-I state in Dodgre City as they defeated Oxford in the Canton-Galva Sub-State, 59-53, tonight. LR is headed to state for the first time since 2021 and 11th time in school history. #sportsinkansas
