Fifth-year rabbinical student @akmandel's @TzedekBox is being portrayed in an exhibition at the Heller Museum. Jean Bloch Rosensaft, Director of the museum, hopes the exhibit will put the tzedek box on the map, and in Jewish homes, in a meaningful way.

At first glance, this box looks like a tzedakah (charity) box. But in fact, it’s a tzedek (justice) box. Instead of coins for charity, the slot is intended for slips of paper documenting an individual's acts of justice and righteousness.
