So you wake up in the morning, your alarm is several minutes late; it’s no matter that you hit the snooze button more than once, the fact is that you just woke up and you are running late. You rush 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️through your morning routine and make your way to work,
This is the stadium of Real Madrid. But today, it is not filled for football.
Over 80,000 Catholics from the Diocesan Community of Madrid gathered here for an encounter with Pope Leo.
In a world that constantly predicts the decline of faith, moments like this remind us of a simple truth: The Church is alive.
Who taught Jesus how to pray?
Even though Jesus is the Son of God, because he became a real human being, he actually had to learn how to pray just like the rest of us. He learned his first basic prayers from his mother, Mary, who spent a lot of time quietly reflecting on all the amazing things God had done.
His community also taught Him. He learned the traditional prayers, habits, and rhythms of his culture by going to church (the synagogue and the Temple) with his people.
But there was also a deeply personal, hidden side to his prayers. Even at twelve years old, he knew he had a unique, direct line to God, calling the Temple "my Father’s house." Jesus showed us a brand new way to pray, not just as servants reciting words, but as children talking intimately to a loving Father.
I extend my deepest sympathies to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). The relentless increase in insecurity nationwide continues to inflict severe hardship on frontline workers. Regrettably, this alarming lapse in governance is being eclipsed by prevailing political machinations.
I wish to express my condolences to the FRSC operatives in Kebbi State following the heinous murder of their colleagues. Furthermore, I unequivocally condemn this act, which exacerbates the profound and unacceptable threats to our nation's stability.
We must elevate the sanctity of human life to a paramount position within our national agenda. -PO
“Today the Church shows the world the “Corpus Christi“ - the Body of Christ. And she invites us to adore him: “Venite adoremus“ - Come let us adore him.” —Pope St. John Paul II
Since she learnt how to chant ‘Our father who art in heaven ‘ in Latin , she no gree make we hear word again 🤣🤣🤣…
Latin Mass >>>>>>>>>>> English Mass
As we prepare to begin a new working week, we declare divine protection upon our lives and upon all that matter to us. We submit our plans onto him, he will grant us success. We shall begin in hope and end with praises, because he always comes through for us.
More than 1 million people packed Madrid’s streets to see Pope Leo XIV celebrate Mass on Corpus Domini, honoring Spain’s centuries-old tradition of religious devotion. The historic event featured a massive procession over elaborate flower-petal carpets, one of the country’s most iconic expressions of faith.
More than 1.2 million people filled the streets of Madrid on Sunday for a mass by Pope Leo XIV at which he called for a renewal of the Catholic faith in Spain.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia joined throngs of devotees waving Spanish and Vatican flags in Cibeles Square for a service filled with religious symbolism.

Madrid witnessed something extraordinary today: Pope Leo XIV carrying our Eucharistic Lord through its streets on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. As thousands followed in prayer and adoration, the scene reflected the beauty of this ancient feast.
But Madrid was not alone. Across the world, Catholics gathered to carry Jesus in the Eucharist through their streets, publicly proclaiming their faith in His Real Presence.
Corpus Christi is more than a tradition—it is living faith made visible. Wherever the Eucharistic Lord was carried in procession today, in Madrid, throughout Spain, throughout the world, there beat the heart of the Church.
There is a bias against Christianity in relation to other aspects of life. Someone can spend his weekend clubbing and spraying money, nobody would criticize. But when someone give his time and resources to the church, he is a fool.
Someone smokes weed and expensive cigars, he's considered cool. But when another person decides to allow God into his heart, he is a fool. We are never beating the allegations. We are fools for Christ. We find meaning in Christ. Christ gives us meaning. We try our little and our best and we are called hypocrites, righteous-than-thou and delusional.
If I may ask, what kind of lifestyle should we adopt? Your lifestyle? Nah. Even you, you know it is empty.
Friends, we’ve come to the great Solemnity of Corpus Christi—a celebration of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist. Our first reading mentions the “manna” that fed the Israelites in the desert—a mysterious bread from heaven described in the book of Exodus. This is then correlated to the Eucharist, the bread from heaven that Jesus gives us, in our Gospel from the sixth chapter of John. I want to explore four dimensions of this relationship between manna and the Eucharist: https://t.co/QYEMiHsJen
