The CSO in partnership with BLSA hosted a panel and networking event tonight highlighting alternative legal careers. The attorney attendees work in a variety of industries - sports, higher education, in-house counsel, mediation, and healthcare. It was a great event!!!✨
Today, a number of UA’s BLSA members were honored and awarded multiple scholarships, plaques, and cash prizes for their academic excellence and high achievements at UA Law’s Award Ceremony!✨✨❤️❤️Congratulations!!!
UA’s BLSA banquet took place at the beautiful Diamond’s Direct Ballroom at Regions Field. It was so nice to see so many people and organizations present to praise and support UA’s BLSA Chapter and our history Coming Full Circle! I can’t wait for next years program!!✨
Barbri director Jonathan Augustin joined us to discuss being Black and taking the bar exam. It was a great session to get a heads up on some things our non-Black peers are already aware of coming into law school!!✨

BLSA continues to celebrate and honor Black culture by learning more about Tuscaloosa's place in civil rights history. On February 12th, 10am - 12pm at Capitol Park, members came to learn more about the history in their own backyard!!!!

The Black Law Student Association and the Environmental Law Society hosted an informative and inspiring panel discussion addressing the current state of environmental justice, and how we, as future attorneys, can be more aware and supportive of this important movement!!💚🤎🤍
This past Friday, BLSA partnered with the Red Cross to host our annual Blood Drive from 10:30am-3:30pm at Calvary Baptist Church! We had a great turnout. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and everyone who was able to donate!!
