On transparent onchain markets, a position can become a target while it is still open.
In March 2025, a trader built a $445M Bitcoin short using 40× leverage on Hyperliquid. Its size, direction and liquidation price were publicly visible—giving other traders a clear level to target. A group publicly organized an attempt to force the position into liquidation. The trader responded by adding $5M in collateral, increasing the available margin and avoiding being forced out. The attempt ultimately failed—but the message was clear: transparency can directly influence how the market trades against your position.
Transparency made the position verifiable. It also turned the trader’s exposure into public market intelligence.

Everyone talks about Bitcoin, memecoins, and the next 100x token.
But the most important crypto product in 2026 might be something far less exciting:
Stablecoins.
They don't promise huge gains. They don't trend on X every day.
Yet they're quietly reshaping global finance. 🧵👇
WHY MOST MEME COIN TRADERS STILL LOSE MONEY
The Harsh Reality Behind Memecoin Success Stories
Every crypto bull market creates stories of traders turning a few hundred dollars into life-changing wealth through memecoins. Social media is filled with screenshots of massive gains, luxury purchases, and predictions about the next token that could deliver 100x returns.
What these success stories rarely show is that most memecoin traders actually lose money.
The main reason is that memecoins are driven almost entirely by hype and speculation. Unlike projects with strong utility, products, or revenue models, most memecoins depend on community attention and market sentiment. When excitement grows, prices can surge rapidly. When attention disappears, prices often crash just as fast.
One of the biggest traps traders fall into is FOMO, or Fear of Missing Out. Many investors only hear about a memecoin after it has already gained hundreds or even thousands of percent. Seeing others celebrate profits, they rush to buy without considering the risks. By that stage, early investors may already be preparing to sell.
As a result, late buyers often become exit liquidity for early holders.
Another factor is survivorship bias. Traders constantly see stories of successful memecoins, but they rarely see the thousands of projects that fail. Every week, countless new tokens are launched, and most never gain meaningful traction. The winners become headlines, while the losers are forgotten.
Poor risk management also contributes to losses. Some traders invest more money than they can afford to lose, while others use leverage in hopes of multiplying profits. Since memecoins are extremely volatile, even small market swings can lead to significant losses or complete liquidation.
Social media further complicates matters. Influencers often highlight winning trades while ignoring unsuccessful ones. This creates the impression that everyone is making money, encouraging more people to enter the market without understanding the risks involved.
Liquidity is another overlooked issue. A token may appear valuable on paper, but during market downturns, buyers can disappear quickly. Traders who expected to sell at a profit may find themselves unable to exit without taking substantial losses.
This does not mean all memecoins are bad investments. Some develop strong communities and achieve long-term success. The challenge is identifying those rare projects before they become popular, which is far easier said than done.
The reality is that memecoin success stories are the exception, not the rule. While a small percentage of traders achieve extraordinary gains, most participants struggle because they chase hype, ignore risk, and let emotions guide their decisions.
The lesson is simple: treat memecoins as highly speculative assets, manage risk carefully, and avoid investing based solely on social media excitement. In a market where fortunes can be made overnight, they can also disappear just as quickly.
For most traders, preserving capital is often more important than chasing the next viral token.
SKILLED OVER GENERALITY (HALF-BAKED)
A young man once wanted to become successful as quickly as possible. On Monday, he started learning graphic design. By Wednesday, he abandoned it for forex trading. The following week, he switched to programming. Soon after, he tried content creation, e-commerce, and digital marketing. Years passed, and although he knew a little about many things, he had mastered none. He remained busy—but never truly valuable.
Another young man took a different path. He chose one skill, committed to learning it deeply, practiced consistently, and improved every single day. It wasn't glamorous at first. Progress was slow, and results weren't immediate. But over time, his expertise became impossible to ignore. Opportunities began to find him because people don't pay for scattered knowledge—they pay for proven competence.
We live in an age where it's easy to be distracted by trends. Every day, social media introduces a new "next big thing," tempting us to jump from one opportunity to another. While being versatile has its advantages, there's a difference between being multi-skilled and being half-baked in everything.
DEPTH CREATES VALUE.
MASTERY BUILDS CONFIDENCE. EXCELLENCE EARNS TRUST.
A person who is exceptionally good at one thing will often outperform someone who is average at ten. Once you've built a solid foundation in one area, expanding into other skills becomes much easier because you've already developed discipline, problem-solving ability, and a reputation for excellence.
Don't mistake movement for progress. Constantly switching directions may keep you busy, but it rarely moves you forward. Choose a path, stay committed, embrace the learning process, and become so skilled that your work speaks before you do.
In a world full of people chasing everything, be the person who masters something. Because in the end, it's not those who know a little about everything who leave a lasting impact—it's those who become exceptional at something that truly matters.
LOCK-IN GUY!
Front-Running: The Invisible Threat in Crypto Trading
In traditional finance, front-running is illegal. In crypto, it can happen in a matter of seconds on public blockchains.
Front-running occurs when someone sees a pending transaction in the blockchain's mempool and quickly submits their own transaction with a higher priority fee so it gets processed first. They profit from the expected price movement caused by the original trade, while the victim often ends up with a worse execution price.
This is especially common on decentralized exchanges (DEXs), where large buy or sell orders can be spotted before they are confirmed. Bots constantly scan the mempool, looking for profitable opportunities to exploit unsuspecting traders.
For example, if you place a large buy order for a token, a bot may buy the token first. When your order executes and pushes the price higher, the bot immediately sells at a profit. The result? You pay more than expected, while the bot earns the difference.
To reduce the risk of front-running, traders can use limit orders, split large trades into smaller ones, adjust slippage tolerance carefully, or use private transaction relays and privacy-focused trading solutions that keep transactions hidden until execution.
As decentralized finance continues to grow, understanding front-running is no longer optional. It's one of the hidden costs of on-chain trading, and knowing how it works can help you protect your capital and execute trades more efficiently.
