HALL OF FAME SPOTLIGHT 💡

The most dominant player in @UAlbanyWBB history, Shereesha Richards ’16 led the Great Danes through an unprecedented era of success from 2012 to 2016.

A two-time Division I All-American and three-time America East Player of the Year, she propelled UAlbany to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and the program's first Division I tournament win in 2016.

UAlbany's all-time leading scorer (2,440 points), she graduated as the school's record holder in points, field goals, and double-doubles while anchoring four straight conference titles.

The enshrinement ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, at Broadview Center on campus.

Orchestrating an era of dominance, former @UAlbanyWBB head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson transformed the Great Danes into a national power from 2010 to 2016.

"Coach Abe" guided UAlbany to five consecutive America East Tournament Championships, four regular-season titles, and the program's first-ever Division I NCAA Tournament victory in 2016.

A three-time America East Coach of the Year, she compiled a staggering 146-47 overall record and established a league-record 38-game regular-season win streak.

The enshrinement ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, at Broadview Center on campus.
