UMC -Tuscaloosa is now offering COVID-19 Pfizer and Moderna second boosters for patients over 50 who received their first booster at least 4 months ago, as well as certain immunocompromised individuals. Call today to schedule an appointment, and leave your name, date of birth.
Due to an AT&T issue, University Medical Center is currently experiencing issues with phone service. UMC locations in Tuscaloosa, Northport and Fayette have been impacted. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will let you know as soon as these issues are resolved.
With the impending threat of severe weather this afternoon and evening, all University Medical Center locations (Tuscaloosa, Northport, Demopolis, Fayette, and Carrollton) will close at 1 pm today. UMC locations will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, March 23.
Due to possible inclement weather conditions forecast for later today, there will be no evening clinic at University Medical Center in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday (March 22). UMC will reopen at 8 am on Wednesday (March 23).
UMC-Tuscaloosa and UMC-Northport will have reduced hours during UA's Spring Break March 14-18. Both locations will be open from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, and there will be no evening clinic hours at UMC in Tuscaloosa.
All other UMC locations will have regular operating hours
University Medical Center is hosting a virtual town hall Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. to provide an update about COVID-19 now that cases and hospitalizations are decreasing and safety restrictions are easing. The event will be streamed live on UMC's Facebook page.
