For 15 years, Dr. Syerra Lea has cared for patients at Banner Health throughout Phoenix in Arizona. After pointing out a scheduling mistake that could have turned away hundreds of patients and delayed their care by months, Banner responded by placing her on probation and monitoring her communications.

What's the next mistake that'll happen because providers are too afraid to speak up? Patients deserve a healthcare system where providers can speak up and raise concerns without the fear of retaliation. Silencing frontline providers puts patient care at risk, plain and simple 📣

Dr. Lea isn't staying silent. She's fighting back and we're proud to represent her in a ULP charge to ensure no other provider has to choose between doing the right thing and keeping their job. ✊
