@admiraluk I started the year with motor and travel insurance with you. Ending it with neither after bizarre motor renewal quote and you declining to extend travel cover by a whole 3 (three) days. Up to you of course but a real PITA to move it all elsewhere
Was that really @JustinOnWeb referring to NPR radio as “left wing” on @BBCr4today this morning as a simple fact, in passing, without further explanation?
@BlickyIan Joined aged 18 as Officer Cadet / pilot Feb 1979. £117pm net after all deductions including accomm & food. Pure beer money. Thatcher elected in May and I got the biggest pay-rise of my life without changing jobs.
@whiskyintel@airwaysmagazine That's not correct. I was passenger number 853. We were in casual clothes, generally wearing runners, but there were elderly passengers as required by regulation. Here's my account at the time https://t.co/ebCNTX3clV

Very sad to learn that aerospace PR guru Mike Savage FRAeS passed away this weekend. An absolute legend in aviation media circles & a raconteur par excellence. Check out this interview from 2018 with his reminiscences from 60 years in aviation #avgeek https://t.co/AfYE4F1Xx5

@kennardmatt@declassifiedUK Obviously business class not first class - i.e. like any senior manager in any reasonable sized company. And he seems to have remarkably cheap accommodation.
@jonostrower Not sure, but I can tell you that I took my friends to LHR T2 on Saturday morning to be there for 04:30 for an 07:30 departure to Munich. Seemed nuts, but in fact they just got through the system in time to board immediately. Sheesh...
