Gynaecomastia, a benign non cancerous condition that usually affects teenage boys and older men. 2 out of 3 teenage boys develop some degree of gynaecomastia, and most resolve themselves over a period of time.

It can affect one or both breasts.

3D Mammogram is the most recent advanced breast screening modality.

As opposed to the 2D images obtained on conventional/ Full field digital mammogram, 3D Mammography creates a three-dimensional image of the breast.

It is to be reiterated that most cysts DO NOT need to be aspirated

If cyst is aspirated, a follow up ultrasound must be done in a few weeks

Ultrasound guided aspiration should be performed only when the cyst is large/painful/infected/suspicious of malignancy(rare)
