Team 1: Nurturing Methods.
=
The design of the #NgcoboFamily House aims to create a functional, sustainable, and above all nurturing home with a central living space that serves as a buffer between private and public spaces.
βI am grateful that I was part of the #designing and #learning process, because this is the type of #architecture that matters to me. [...] We all brought different perspectives and it allowed us to learn from each other.β β Rebecca Dejenie (@becca_dejenie)

If you were given 250,000 USD what would you do with it?
=
Would you pay off your autocar? Would you buy something for your friends? Or would you invest in improving other people's lives by making ripples in a community?

The activism, brilliant ideas and tangible solutions coming out of UbuntuASAP participants from around the world is what gives me hope of a more equitable future for affordable housing. Itβs time for activist architects. Thank you @UbuntuASAP ππ½ #DesignJustice
Over the past two weeks, the #Ngcobo family has been meeting with Ubuntu's leadership to walk through each design concept to determine which most closely aligns with their needs and future plans. At the end of this month to find out which concept will be built next spring.
There is still time! #DeadlineExtended!
=
We understand that sometimes we donβt realize how much time it will take to design a concept we are happy with. To provide you with more time the deadline has been extended.
