New global position statement 🌍

Obesity medications, including GLP-1 therapies, are changing the landscape of care - but they are not a quick fix.

Together with partners across the health and fitness sector, we’re calling for a better, more complete approach. One that brings together treatment, physical activity, nutrition, and long-term support - so people can achieve healthier, more sustainable outcomes.

💬 Obesity is a complex, chronic disease
💬 It requires more than a single solution
💬 And systems must work together to support people, not leave them behind

As these medications become more widely available, we have a choice:
➡️ Focus on short-term results
➡️ Or build systems that deliver lasting health and equity

We’re calling for action - from governments, health systems and global leaders - to make sure we get this right.
