In October, the UC Davis Health Stroke Program presented at the Stronger Than Stroke: The Power to Prevent benefit dinner about stroke prevention strategies and "BE FAST" to spot a stroke. The evening was filled with meaningful discussions in support of stroke prevention.

Chloe Barr was only 18 when she suffered a rupture in an AVM. Courageously, she chose surgery instead of risking another rupture. Chloe is now thriving as a third-year biological sciences major and plans to pursue a career in medicine.
