@AndresLicon We thought that it might happen that people would use it on setups where it's not appropriate, regardless of whether it's done due to lack of understanding or by accident.
We plan to later on release a package with the lag reduction codes bundled with a specific indicator.
Universal Controller Fix v0.73 with bug fixes, tighter dashback implementation, and a more visible text indicator. Includes Gecko codes, .gci memory card files, and a homebrew installation package. #20XXTE will be updated with this version soon.

Unfortunately, the Yoshi bug (game freeze on unshield to spot dodge) was accidentally re-introduced with UCF 0.70 and 0.72. This is fixed again in UCF 0.73, which will be ready for full release very soon.
In the meantime, we recommend using UCF 0.66 instead.
@UmojaTull Roughly 0.2-2% without and roughly 80% with UCF. "Good" as in "generally usable for competitive play". The remaining 20% are defective controllers, controllers with extremely worn out control sticks and so on.
@Norad_Melee If you've held horizontal direction long enough (minimum 4f) so that you've disabled roll, and you're holding the stick to the gate, then y in [-0.7, -0.7875] causes shielddrop instead of roll.
Polling shouldn't affect shielddrops you use really weird, inconsistent technique.
@Spark_SSBM @TempoAxe@mcc_nfreak The threshold is the same, both for intended very slight input and for snapback levels.
But yes, simply increasing them would be very problematic for everyone who makes use of the slight inputs, and it's not something we ever considered (too intrusive).
@mcc_nfreak@TempoAxe We have testing code that didn't fully eliminate snapback and also has potential to nullify intended reverse neutral-B inputs, which we absolutely want to avoid.
If we manage to come up with code that eliminates snapback properly, it will be included with UCF for sure!
@glaciersix Yeah the pure Gecko code on 20xx.me is without the indicator. If you want to have the indicator, best take the GALE01.gct from the linked archive.
@glaciersix Where did you get the Gecko codes from? If you got them from the SD card package from 2017-09-30, the indicator is included.
The newest version of the Wii SD Gecko package is here, has indicators for all the sets: https://t.co/TuCkTz0nS7
@UmojaTull Not really, that's more of a side-effect. The main purpose is to make every controller perform specific techniques consistently for competitive play, not just ~2% of controllers like it is in vanilla.
