A group of Christian women were holding their regular prayer meeting when an evangelist visited their church.

During their conversation, he overheard them discussing an immoral woman who lived nearby.

The evangelist asked:

THE ERRAND BOY PHILOSOPHY

How often do we ask God to do what He has already commanded us to do?

"Lord, visit the sick."
"Lord, comfort the lonely."
"Lord, save the sinners."
"Lord, help the poor."
"Lord, preach to my community."

Meanwhile, God is asking:
> "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?"

When God wanted to reveal Himself to humanity, He came in a body—Jesus Christ.
Today, Christ still ministers through a body.

That body is YOU.

> "For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones." — Ephesians 5:30

You are not merely attending church.

You are the Church.
You are Christ's hands in your community.
You are Christ's voice in your neighborhood.
You are Christ's feet in your generation.

One day, you will stand before God—not to give an account for what your denomination did, but for what you did with the life He gave you.

The question will not be:

> "What did your church accomplish?"
The question will be:

> "What did YOU do with My Gospel?"
The essence of Christianity is not merely going to church.

It is:
> "Christ in you, the hope of glory." — Colossians 1:27

T.L. Osborn understood a truth many believers have forgotten:

If we remain silent, our communities remain unreached.
If we refuse to go, who will?
Stop waiting for God to do what He has called you to do.

When I was Muslim, Surah 5:32 was my favorite verse to quote.

“Whoever kills a soul, it is as if he killed all of mankind.”

I put it in every debate. Every conversation about Islam and peace. It felt like the most beautiful verse in the Quran.

Then I read it slowly.

The verse doesn’t say Allah revealed this to Muhammad. It says: “We decreed upon the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL…”

Wait. Decreed where? When? I went looking.

And I found it.

Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5. A rabbinic commentary on Cain and Abel, written down around 200 AD — four centuries before the Quran.

Rabbis discussing why Genesis says Abel’s “bloods” cry out — plural — and concluding: whoever destroys one soul, it is as if he destroyed an entire world.

Word for word. Same context. Same Cain and Abel story it’s attached to in Surah 5.

The most beautiful verse in the Quran is a rabbi’s classroom commentary.

And that’s when the question changed for me. It was never “is this verse beautiful?” It was: what is a rabbinic homily doing inside a book that claims to be the eternal, uncreated speech of God?

Because there are only two options:

Either Allah quoted the rabbis.

Or a man in Arabia heard Jewish teachers and repeated what they said.

The Bible predicted men would do this too.

Jeremiah 23:30 — “I am against the prophets who steal my words from one another.”

Once I stopped defending man’s word… I found the Living Word. Christ Jesus my King.
