#AB705 has been pivotal in supporting more Black and Latinx students to a four-year degree by removing remedial barriers to transfer-level courses. #AB1705 is @CAgovernor's next step to create a stronger CA by expanding equitable placement implementation.

As student, financial aid, higher education, and equity advocates, we celebrate last year’s historic investments to expand access to Cal Grant to over 150,000 more students, and we now urge state legislators to support #AB1746. We must make financial aid more accessible now!
