The difference is that one plays and one doesn’t. That’s a pretty big difference in the game of basketball lol. “You are either ok with it or you aren’t” is a bad take on a topic that has been nothing but grey area.

But I agree with you in that it should be consistent. All players in that situation (20+ year olds coming from Europe to college) should be ineligible, including Uros.

The NCAA has tried to make that its policy this summer but the courts are blocking them. It wouldn’t be changing the rules midstream, it would be enforcing the rules they’ve always had. If teams loaded up their rosters with players that the NCAA said aren’t eligible, then they can’t complain if the NCAA says they aren’t eligible again.

@dontejharvey How blessed are UConn fans that a legendary shot that will go down in March Madness lore for decades is only the third best thing to happen to us in the tournament in the last 4 years?

Feels good, man

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

The Big East 1st team is usually 6 players. The POY, and then the next 5 guys.

Silas Demary Jr is Big Easy Preseason POY, so I’m pretty sure that’s why he’s not also on this list.

100% Dan Hurley is going to use this as bulletin board material anyway 😂

[Jon Rothstein @JonRothstein]

All-Big East Preseason First-Team, per release.

Braylon Mullins, UConn
Ian Jackson, St. John’s
Tounde Yessoufou, St. John’s
Nigel James, Marquette
Tyler Perkins, Villanova

Well this aged miserably as Arike just dropped 45 to keep Dallas’ season alive

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

Think it’s time for Arike to find her next stop. The team needs to be handed over to Paige and everything needs to be built around her.

Arike can get buckets and has value on that alone. But she needs the ball in her hands to do it, and the ball always needs to be in Paige’s hands.

Need floor spacers and rim runners!

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@DaveBorges I get that every coach will always say something like this publicly. But Hurley has had nothing but praise and respect for Shaheen since he took the Seton Hall job. Have to trust that he’s being honest with this one. He wouldn’t tamper within the conference

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

Breanna Stewart in the Liberty’s historic series:

- 27.5 PPG
- 8.5 RPG
- 5 APG
- 2 SPG, 2 BPG
- 50% FG, 19-21 from the FT line

Ready for the Semifinals. @nyliberty

LIBERTY SWEEP LYNX TO BECOME THE FIRST NO. 8 SEED TO KNOCK OFF THE NO. 1 SEED IN WNBA HISTORY 🚨🤯

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@League_Him @hsfallinvite Don’t know what any of this means but NAVORRO BOWMAN ALPHA 🐺🐺🐺

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@GmingClipz Definitely not AI. I was the guy recording it

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@TheDunkCentral This just looks WRONG lmao

The Wings got blasted, but Paige Bueckers went crazy in her playoff debut. 21 points on 90% shooting!

The Wings as a team can’t compete with the Valkyries as a team, but the playoff pressure does not affect Paige at all

[Polymarket Hoops @PolymarketHoops]

Paige Bueckers has more points than the rest of her teammates combined in the first half.

It’s her playoff debut…

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

Poster dunk, pull up midrange, floater, drive through contact and finish at the rim, spot up three, fast break dunk, throws a lob, deep three

So excited for NaVorro Bowman Jr to get to UConn.

[Ballislife.com @Ballislife]

@UConnMBB Latest 5 ⭐ Commit NaVorro Bowman Jr. wasted NO TIME making a statement to kick off his senior year debut 😳

The future Huskies star came out looking like he’s got something to prove this season! 👀😤

@espn One of the all time greats.

@EJayArrow Caitlin, Olivia, Kelsey, Paige, Jackie are all First Team quality players. But you can’t leave Paige Bueckers off that team. I’d swap her with Olivia Miles.

21 PPG, 6 APG, 4 RPG, 50/40/87 shooting. That’s All WNBA First Team!

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@espn That’s now how I would interpret her game today, ESPN admin

Breanna Stewart vs the world right now. 16 points and 5 rebounds in the first half. Even hit a three!

8 seed Liberty are putting up a fight.

HT IN MINNY 🚨

[UConnBBMuse @UConnBBMuse]

@CBBToday The jump is going to be huge. Hawkins averaged 6 points a game off the bench and struggled with confidence after some early mistakes. Braylon averaged 12 points a game as a starter and already has legendary moments under his belt

15 PPG will be the floor!
