Rick Barnes used Roger Federer, of all people, to get his point across to Nate Ament last week. And it looks like it worked.
“He won almost 80% of his matches, but he only won 54% of his points. So he learned how to put a (bad) shot behind him."

Virginia basketball coach Tony Bennett is retiring.
- National champion
- 2x Coach of the Year
- Eight total ACC titles
- 433–169 career coaching record
- 364–136 record at Virginia
- Proud father, husband and son.
An absolute legend.
Jerry West lived a profound basketball and American life — iconic as a player, executive and looming figure in the history of the game. He was an MVP, a champion, a gold medalist, a dynasty-builder and literally the league’s logo. His loss leaves a massive void.
There is not an opposing coach I respect more than Tony Bennett and it’s no surprise that he and Matt Painter share many of the same qualities.
Bennett and Painter are two of the very few coaches in the country who have run their programs the right way from day 1.
Here he is when asked about Purdue and Painter in his pre-tourney press conference.
Bennett has always been pure class.
