Shiromani Akali Dal will screen @diljitdosanjh’s epic film #Satluj across Punjab.
This is aimed at ensuring that today’s youth and our coming generations know about the unspeakable tragedy and repression unleashed by the then butcher Congress governments against Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra and thousands of other innocent Sikh youth who were eliminated through fake encounters.
This film presents the agony of Punjab during that phase. The Sikh youth was going through profound religious stress following the horrendous and unforgivable attack on Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Later in October-November that year, countless innocent Sikhs were subjected to an unprecedented massacre in New Delhi and several other parts of the country. Now, the Punjabis, especially the Sikhs are being stopped from recalling and recording that era in the form of history.
Shiromani Akali Dal will never remain a mute witness to this injustice.
Accordingly, I direct every worker, every office bearer and every leader of the @Akali_Dal_ to stream this film (Satluj) in every nook and corner of every village, town and city of Punjab.

BJP ruled states of Haryana, Rajasthan & Delhi have ganged up against Punjab in collision with GOI to rob Punjab of its legitimate share of water from the Bhakra dam in a recent meeting of the Bhakra Beas Management Board. This unprecedented bullying & looting of Punjab’s resources is a revengeful move against the farmers of the State & will destroy them as well as our farm economy if not nipped in the bud.
Chief minister @BhagwantMann is playing a double game by assuring the Haryana CM he will release additional water to the State even while he makes appropriate noises for media consumption.
Shiromani Akali Dal will not let this conspiracy succeed at any cost. We demand
1. Immediate restoration of Punjab’s representative as Member, Power.
2. Revocation of the permission given to treat the additional grant of water to Haryana as an exception by doing away with Punjab’s clearance on the same.
3. Concrete action by @AamAadmiParty govt to ensure additional water will not be released to Haryana through any head work in Punjab and additional water already flowing into Haryana will be curtailed.
In case BhagwantMann buckles down to pressure from Haryana & the central govt & sells out the interests of Punjab the @Akali_Dal_ will start a mass agitation to protect the water rights of the State.

@ArvindKejriwal had been behaving as a law unto himself. He was cocking a snook at the law of the land and was treating it as a joke, defying all civilised norms and legal requirements.
The scam in which he is involved was replicated in Punjab by him in collusion with CM Bhagwant Mann. The process of law needs to extend here and @BhagwantMann must face the same consequences as his boss. There is no reason not to follow the tracks of the #DelhiLiquorScam into Punjab where the same policy was implemented to favour the same beneficiaries. The trail of this scandal leads directly to the office and residence of Bhagwant Mann who must be made to face the same fate.
