@TheTennisTalker These two shouldn’t be given anymore WC’s because not only have they got no form to speak of, they also haven’t really taken their chances over the last few years.
@jamesgraysport Poor bloke. Can’t catch a break from all of his injuries. Just when I thought he had finally escaped them early last year, his old issues rears on its ugly head. A pity really because he was arguably the third best player at the time behind Alcaraz and Sinner. ☹️ ❤️🩹
@the_LTA@katiecboulter Good win against a tenacious opponent in Leylah Fernandez. Also, her friendship with Emma is heartwarming because they do seem to genuinely care for each other especially Emma who needs that assurance considering she’s previously spoken about feeling lonely at times. 👏 💪 ❤️
@KristynaM_ My guess is that they want all the posh crowd to eat their snacks or whatever. A bit like why Wimbledon have their show court matches starting at one and half one in the afternoon.
@the_LTA@katiecboulter@QueensTennis I wonder if she might consider going to Hertogenbosch next year because IMO it’d better for her to start at a smaller tournament to ease herself in and more likely to pick up points and wins since Nottingham got pushed back a week plus her fiance’s there as well.
@pavyg@rolandgarros@MajaChwalinskaP I think it helps that Maja has a more engaging personality with her charisma, sense of humour and playing style whereas Iga comes across as wooden and robotic.
@TheTennisTalker Emma and Katie B need to take their opportunities in the next month (and rest of the year as well) to get themselves back up the rankings. Also, poor Sonay. Her ranking’s gonna take a bit of a battering after Wimbledon. Might be wise to wait until her PR kicks in. 🤞 🙈
