Messi is truly exceptional.
Love him or hate him, you can’t deny his ability to change the course of a game. Excellent mentality. Delivers under pressure. A true game changer.
Argentina have mastered the art of staying alive in games, even when they’re behind. They never look beaten, and that unwavering belief has become one of their greatest weapons. Elite mentality!
Old friendships have a special kind of sweetness.
They’re the people who knew you before the successes and all. The ones with whom you shared struggles, milestones, and plenty of silly memories over the years.
Even after years apart, you can pick up a conversation as though no time has passed. ❤️
I had a little trick I used for multiple-choice questions the few times I got stuck on some questions in secondary school.
If I didn’t know the answer or wasn’t quite sure of the correct one, I’d usually go with the option that had the longest answer.
My reasoning was simple: “Why would they go through the stress of writing all that if it wasn’t the correct answer?” 😂
Did it always work? I guess we’ll never know. Lol
To be fair, I was a bright student and would most likely have passed with or without those few questions anyway.
On the Forthcoming NBA Elections:
I have read the reports, letters, and circulars from the different sides and have also watched the recent interview granted by the NBA President. I am, however, concerned by the NBA President’s stance/posture in all of these.
In his statement, he criticized the Chief Olanipekun-led committee, alleging bias. However, at the 11 June 2026 meeting, it was the NBA’s own counsel who nominated Chief Olanipekun to lead that committee. If there are legitimate concerns raised by the other candidates, are they not worth considering? Why the determination to proceed with a process that the other candidates have already raised concerns may be skewed in favour of a particular candidate?
The President of the NBA can have his preferred candidate (which I believe he is very much entitled to). However, as the leader of the Bar, he also has a duty to ensure a level playing field for all the candidates. As such, his actions, particularly in public, should not be perceived as overtly supporting or promoting any candidate, lest we push the NBA to a very undesirable level of politicking.
Egbe Amofin has agreed to withdraw all its suits to give the candidates an equal footing. The NBA President should also be open to considering the concerns raised by the other candidates and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure fairness for all, even if it means postponing the elections to adequately address those issues.
Selah!
Morocco acted a bit too shy to attack. I understand the need for caution, but there was just too much reluctance to go forward. An easy win for France here.

@Bee3re I can actually understand this, and there are valid reasons for taking this position. Its use can sometimes seem disruptive, subjective, and difficult to explain or justify.
That’s the end for CR7. His last dance on football’s biggest stage. He’ll surely be remembered as one of football’s greatest players.

In every profession or field of endeavour, there’s a top 1%.
They’re the ones who set the standard, shape conversations, influence decisions, and often define the direction of the profession.
Don’t just aim to belong. Aim to be in that room.
The journey is demanding, but that’s where excellence leaves its mark.
Congratulations to the great Chief Wole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN!
He is one man I have admired from afar for a very long time.
As an undergraduate, I did everything I could to ensure I was posted to his firm for my internship. It was always a privilege to watch him in court. He has been a great source of inspiration.
May God continue to keep him and enlarge his coast. 🥂
