New: In 2024, ex-NRA head Wayne LaPierre was ordered to repay the org $4.4 million after he was found to use donor funds on private flights and designer suits. He appealed.
Today, he lost that appeal.

New: ICE officials texted about the "gross" conditions of the packed 26 Federal Plaza holding rooms, according to trial evidence.
One man was held for 6 days with tuberculosis.

One more.
It was revealed a few months back that ICE was trying to skirt the judge’s order by holding people on the 9th floor, too.
These cells are no better — some are so small that even holding ONE detainee inside would violate the judge’s 50 sq. ft requirement.
This pissed off the judge today.
ICE official Nancy Zanello said in a declaration from 8/18/2025 that as of August 15, there are “currently” 8 detainees.
On the 18th, when the declaration was signed, there were 60 detainees. Even on the 15th, there were more than 20.
