@HymieWeisss@yeljr23 Aldos prime was in the ufc?
u guys who don’t know shit act like Aldo’s career was wec then he moved to the ufc and lost
He had 3 TITLE FIGHTS in the wec, and like 12 in the ufc lol
And his peak is Frankie 1 which was in the wec
You should watch that fight acc, i know u haven’t
@HymieWeisss@yeljr23 That’s where ur wrong 😊
Jones did regress later in his career he was just fighting terrible comp, so he didn’t lose, but yet….. he still lost To Reyes and arguably “santos”
Jones went extremely comp with those guys,
Aldo, with yan, volk, max
Who looks like they are better now?
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
The news is confirmed, I am no longer with the UFC.
I’ve had an incredibly successful time in the organisation. I’m proud and happy with what I’ve accomplished inside the Octagon. I leave with a stainless record. Holding the longest active win streak in my weight division and the fourth longest in the entire UFC. I feel I’m the best bantamweight in the world.
I always turned up and fought regardless of injuries and weight deficits. And I always asked for the toughest opponent to get me closer to the title.
But my departure clearly has nothing to do with my fighting capabilities. Unfortunately the organisation just isn’t what it used to be. They’re heading in a different direction from what we all grew up loving.
I want to clarify that since my last fight I was never offered a contract or an opponent, I waited but it never came. I’ve certainly never declined a fight during my whole tenure.
I want to thank the UFC staff with whom I’ve developed a great relationship these past few years. And most importantly thank you to the fans for all your support ❤️
I’m still young, the best is yet to come inshaAllah.

@HymieWeisss@yeljr23 Uhhh fighters peak at different times???
Aldo was champ at 23 obviously he’s going to be washed by 33, he still had a longer prime than volk lolz
Age argument is trash
Aldo literally maintained his all-time status for like 10 years, volk only like 6
T3eny honestly might still have an underrated career imo... the consistency on EU is completely ridiculous, and he didnt have any meaningful placements for all of 2025 and still did this in basically 3 years. Legit argument for top 15 ever already
@HymieWeisss@yeljr23 Aldo doesn’t have any losses in his early career either?
They both lost when they weren’t at their peaks? Aldo just lost more cos he’s consistently fighting more atg fighters past his prime??
They’ve both lost to every single atg fighter they faced past their primes lol
@GoatStPiHair Not every close fight is a robbery but some are, these ones are (note: i don’t mean robbery as “this was a disgraceful decision and a daylight robbery” all I’m saying is Aldo DID win the fight if you stay consistent with the mma scoring criteria which we can discuss
@GoatStPiHair Merab, Moraes, Moicano, Font, Chito, Munhoz, Stephens
Yes he would of beaten Yair, yes he would have beaten Ortega
Yes he would of beaten aljo, he DID beat Merab, he DID beat Moraes
@GoatStPiHair Yea I’d say he was on par with the best, beating everyone apart from the literal top 1 in both divisions (while making the fights uber competitive) and beating merab while styling on the rest of the comp means ur like “on par” with the best, he’s just not number 1
@GoatStPiHair Yea he lost to THEEE best of the next gen (apart from merab) but he beat all then rest of the next gen,
Which is still beating the next gen
@GoatStPiHair he made the volk and yan and max fights insanly comp, won 4 rounds vs max, 1 round vs volk, 2 rounds vs yan, ALL PAST HIS PRIME, just how good, and he beat merab rounds 1 and 2 lol sneaky robbery, and during that time he was sweeping past the non atg comp like it was nothing
@GoatStPiHair okkk florian and brown arent elite
also florian is a lw not a bw, and for his gen he fought 2 all time greats: mendes and edgar, and he beat both of them twice, aldo holds 3 top 10 wins ever (mendes 2, edgar 1 / 2) and only lost to conor in his prime
