The ULP Strike Authorization Vote for SoCal UFCW pharmacists at Ralphs, Albertsons, Vons & Pavilions is July 15–16.

An overwhelming YES vote will send a clear message that pharmacists are united.

Voting opens at 7am on July 15 and closes at 7pm on July 16.

The San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council is hosting Crafting With Pride sign-making and tie-dye events on July 8 & 11 to help prepare for the San Diego Pride Parade on July 18.

We've noticed that many are trying to enter from the Carroll Canyon Road side of the building. Our main entrance and member parking are located on the west side and all union business is conducted on the second floor.

FOX 5/KUSI highlighted the City's proposed cannabis delivery ordinance.

The ordinance would require cannabis delivery companies doing business in SD to meet the City's permitting requirements, helping ensure fair competition for licensed shops.

Yesterday, we proudly wore our new logo polo shirts for the first time as we welcomed members to our new headquarters in Scripps Ranch.

Our new logo reflects the San Diego communities we serve and the bright future ahead for our union.

In observance of Juneteenth, both UFCW Local 135 offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 and all Union Reps will be off route.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a reminder that the fight for freedom, justice, and equality continues.

Our new headquarters is open, and history came full circle.

The first member/retiree to walk through our doors was Matt Fuller, who spent 35 years in the union. Matt started with Retail Clerks Local 1222 in 1974 and finished with UFCW Local 135 in 2009.

With our new office almost ready, we held our first all-staff meeting there.

On Mon, our team will focus on final details to ensure everything is ready for our 1st day of business Tues.

Our Mission Valley temp office closes early today at 3pm so staff can begin preparations for the move into our new headquarters.

The Mission Valley office will permanently close at 5pm on 5/12.

Our new headquarters will officially open for union business on Tues at 8am.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of member Candace Mershon, who passed away on 5/12.

Candace was a member for 17 years and worked as a bookkeeper at Vons.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Candace’s family, friends, and coworkers.

With bargaining not resuming until the end of the month, pharmacists across SoCal are taking the next step in their contract campaign: signing strike pledge cards.

As UFCW Local 135 prepares for the move to our new headquarters, the Mission Valley temporary office will close early at 3pm on Wed, June 10.

The final day at the temp office will be Fri, June 12 as we close the door on this chapter and prepare for the next.

Beginning Wed, June 10, our North County office in San Marcos will return to its regular schedule and will once again be closed on Wed.
