$UFG is just the start of our attempt to create experiments where holders can be rewarded in a real way for hodling their tokens.
The United Founders Group $UFG Thesis ๐๏ธ
$UFG an onchain ETH treasury that pays you to hold via multiple revenue streams. It has the potential to be the $YFI of this cycle; it is truly novel in its mechanics yet simple in its design.
Each $UFG token is first and foremost 98% redeemable for ETH in its treasury. The other 2% is an exit fee that is sent back into the treasury, creating a permanent rising floor of the ETH in it. The $UFG treasury is an immutable contract that is not controlled by anyone.
Because of its tokenomics of having a fixed supply of 1 billion that burns $UFG every time that ETH is redeemed from the treasury, making the token deflationary. So now you inherently have this interesting conflux of ETH in the treasury perpetually increasing while $UFG supply constantly decreases.
The first revenue stream of $UFG are 100% of the creator fees from $UFG's own market on @ponsdotfamily. Anyone can call this contract to collect for the treasury and in the future, the contract can collect revenue streams from future products and primitives. And while many new tokens are pairing to untested onchain stocks, $UFG is pairing to the most tried and tested decentralized finance asset there is, ETH.
This comes to why I like $UFG so much. It is because it is fair. I believe that we are seeing a swing back to PvE this cycle where holding and contributing will be rewarded while paper hands will be punished. $PONS was the first to prove this, building a launchpad that rewards creators with fees and holders with buybacks. What launches like $UFG prove is that $PONS isn't just for memecoins but for real DeFi primitives looking to launch in a fair manner and those that build in this spirit will win.
On the roadmap, the next revenue stream is options with the first asset being tokenized-SPY exposure. How it works is there are two tokens, a "Buffer token" a which holds a 10% loss in exchange for a capped upside. The "Writer token" is the inverse, it posts the collateral that absorbs the losses and is only paid in the upside goes beyond the Buffer cap. Both tokens fund themselves purely from their own trading fees, take no deposits, and route a fixed share of fees to the $UFG treasury. There will be more information about this product soon.
I've talked to the founder and multiple holders of $UFG and its success really depends on the people. We have an incredible opportunity here to build something that is in the spirit of DeFi but it can only happen if people believe that a better future is possible.
The flywheel is already in motion; more products -> more revenue streams -> more ETH accumulation -> more proving the power of DeFi, but to get it into turbo drive it can't be done alone. Not by me. Not by you. Not by any single person. It will have to be a group effort.

What is $UFG?
$UFG is the first treasury in a broader on-chain treasury platform.
It begins with a deliberately simple model: creator fees flow into a transparent ETH treasury that $UFG holders can redeem against. When users redeem, they redeem for their pro-rata share of the ETH treasury and are charged an exit fee of 2%.
This exit fee makes it so the amount of ETH backing the remaining tokens never declines.
The platform is intended to expand with additional experiments using innovative, clearly disclosed strategies, while $UFG itself acts as the platform treasury for holders and early adopters, being governed by the fixed rules of its contract.
