My friend Mustafa called me from northern Gaza a few minutes ago.

Might he mellow a bit, now that he has grandiosity, AND money, AND immunity? Psychology doesn't give us the answer because what just happened was unprecedented and has created new ground.
I believe most GOP elected officials are performative, selfish, and know all of this about him. Maybe not the technical terminology, but the gist and effect. Yet all but a few of them remained willing to risk our collective safety, our governing credos and institutions, and our way of life, for a chance at power and Minority Rule in a kingdom led by the aforementioned madman.
