Tredegarville CW Primary School organise an Iftar event (breaking the fast) every year.

Ahead of that, we were invited in to deliver a session on Ramadan to Year 5.

We were told that there were many self-proclaimed experts on Islam, so this was going to be fun!

The school have arranged an Iftar event (breaking of the fast) and wanted the children to get an understanding of the meaning and significance of Ramadan.

We were invited to deliver an assembly, and a session to Years 5 & 6 at Llanfair Primary School near Cowbridge.

The children are about to start learning about Islam, so this was a great way to introduce them to the subject.

They were really positive and engaged, and we had some great feedback.

It was lovely attending the Iftar celebration at @CoedGlas. Tan Ahmed from @UICardiff gave excellent presentation. Thanks to the Head teacher Mrs Notley and staff for organising this event. It was great to see the participation from pupils & families.
