As a product designer, don’t design for users; design with them.

My advice whenever someone ask me if UIUX is over saturated is;

Will a woman selling garri in the market stop because her neighbors all sell garri?

They always say “No” but my answer is always shocking

My answer is “Yes” she will but not until she has introduced more products so you may find her selling palm oil, fufu, vegetables to stay in business

Sometimes the issue with this case is poor or no mentorship, certain people don’t like to ask questions while others ask the wrong people

Regardless, learn to equip yourself with more skillsets, the world is changing rapidly but people still need your perspective.
