I've booked 5th July off, so I can stay up all night on 4th/morning of 5th to watch the general election results roll in.

What "boarding" and "last call" notifications actually mean is very subjective, depending on airport, airline and airport stand (air bridge or remote stand with bus)..

En-route to a conference. Rather than a suit, I've gone for a "chinos and blazer" type look. I estimate there's a 50% chance it looks amazing, and a 50% chance I look like a fake LinkedIn profile selling cryptocurrency.

For me, either is a win.

Just had such an energising conversation with a client. I'm really fortunate in my work that I get to chat to some really interesting people.

@gavstephenson True! Although even with HDMI, there were sufficiently different number of stages on the video processing vs the audio processing that we had to delay & sync prior to the TX stage. Which was, shall we say, a "fun" bit of the config :-)

Ah, the old schematic for the A/V for BA Fringe. 3x laptops (plus 1x for studio clock/silence detector), 2x video mixers, 1x audio mixer.

There are easier ways of doing this now, but we learned a lot. Especially about audio 🤣 (If you don't know what mix minus is, you're lucky!)
