@instablog9ja It makes no difference. Storing your own blood for use is not applicable to all cases, what about emergency surgeries in cases where such an individual is already anemic, suffering from cancers or any blood diseases and autologous blood transfusion is not an option?🙄

I’m really happy to announce this.

After I made an open letter to @PeterObi about the dental student of UniCal, he tweeted about it and he has done far more than we can imagine!!!

@PeterObi has just given 20million naira to the Faculty of Dentistry in University of Calabar to help the 400 dental students who are being threatened with expulsion and withdrawal from university by the VC after the school deliberately over-admitted students.

Part of the accreditation problem that the school has been no money to buy the appropriate equipments to train the dental students. Now with this donation by @PeterObi , the university of Calabar is getting closer to resolving all their accreditation problems.

Please join me to thank @PeterObi for his relentless commitment to helping the oppressed and downtrodden in our country.

This is an open call to the President @officialABAT

I am writing to appeal for your intervention on behalf of some unfairly treated students in Calabar.

This to let you know sir that the VC of the university of Calabar has told over 300 students of dentistry to leave the university. The university over-admitted the students and are now threatening to expel them after many years in the school as the university is not accredited to train that high number of students.

Some of these students are now planning to kill themselves and commit suicide.

As the President and leader of the country, Please kindly intervene and help save this situation.

Please do NOT allow this injustice to happen. Please do everything that you can to help salvage these students lives.

If you are a student of UniCAL,
If you are a concerned Nigerian who is also aware of this story, pls lend your voice under this tweet. DO NOT KEEP QUIET. Evil injustice thrives when everybody keeps silent.

Right now as I type this:
There are 300 dental students in the university of Calabar that the VC has told to leave school and “learn trade”.

This is because the school admitted more students than it is accredited for.

When this VC dies tomorrow,
Animals on this app will say “respect the dead”. Yet the dead is a heartless witch that is making the lives of 300 students a living hell now.

@OurFavOnlineDoc This is a list of accredited dental schools in Nigeria. Only 9 are fully accredited and have exhausted their quota. How on earth do they want to transfer 300+ students? To where? I've been in this school for 6 years and transfer is not an option for any of us.

You claimed MDCN is willing to give waiver to other schools to absorb dental students from UNICAL, Why not tell MDCN to give the same waiver to Medicine so that the affected students can be absorbed internally?

This is a list of the graduating quota for medicine. We can be merged with zero issues so why the hold up? What are you hiding from us Prof Ngim Ngim?
