Last week The Duke of Rothesay raised the Standard at a small ceremony to mark the Ballater Highland Games which were sadly postponed. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There have been Highland Games held in Ballater since 1864 and, excluding the war years, they have continued uninterrupted until now.

A quick jaunt north to the delights of the Eden Valley I’m Cumbria, what a spectacular part of the world. First day we spent searching for salmon, a few fish showing but sadly nothing to the fly this time.
