@TFG_Football Genuine question as a UK lions fan, is it possible to fix a defense mid-season. Say we fire Shep who doesn't know what he's doing will we look better?

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@DetroitLionsGM @Whiticar Brother JPJ is LITERALLY holding out for a contract rn

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@touchback_sport Yeah but it would be porter minus laporta or branch. JPJ not worth what we would have had to pay for him.

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@TJDMCR Bills fanbase is awesome I love your shit dude

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@DetroitOnLion Didn't realise Borom ran a route here!

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@Fi77Le Got a lot of respect for Ben Johnson think I would be happy for him if he wasn't on the Bears. With respect to my guy Kalif Raymond, F the bears.

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@TFG_Football Would he hypothetically be a good fit for the Lions?

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@BravesHateMe Why can't we just enjoy 2 awesome running backs both playing out of their minds without it being a comparison. They're such different backs who get it done in different ways with pretty equal success. James Cook is awesome too.

@TFG_Football @FBallAnalysisYT I need 14.16 PPR fantasy out of either saquon or swift tonight. Who should I start?

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@FBallAnalysisYT Not once, we all know he doesn't believe it he's just being honest about how hard they are to come by as a former player

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

But man another year of this defense having bad coaching. So many teams around the league have worse talent on D and still make it work. I feel for Shep but he hasn't shown us anything to get excited about and I'm just so ready to move on to someone who knows what they're doing.

Post Lions-Bills Thoughts to my 2 followers:

Man with the pieces on this offense you literally only need a half decent defense to make a couple stops. I get we got down early and we will look better as a team when we get Mays, Miller and branch back.

@TouchdownTrips Jags, Cardinals and Packers

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@Section344Lions When Micah comes back, Packers will be an immediate contender. Just about how many games they can win before that.

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@TFG_Football What's sad is after missing no games in college he might not be fit for his second NFL game

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@FBallAnalysisYT Think Kyler would have been out of frame so had to go for a bigger guy 😭

News has broken that Juliet Slot, Arsenal’s Chief Commercial Officer, is leaving the club and as a fan, I am gutted.

Slot has been instrumental in powering up Arsenal’s finances, enabling higher squad spending in recent years that has served as the platform for success on the pitch.

She joined the club half way through the 21/22 season and straight away, started renegotiating major sponsorship contracts for Arsenal, as well as securing completely new ones.

In fact, Slot and her team signed up 15 new sponsors in 25/26 alone, which should contribute another £65m per annum moving forward! (per @Lu_Class_ )

Aided by Mikel’s amazing work and improvements on the pitch, Slot and her team helped Arsenal enjoy some of European football’s fastest growth in commercial revenues since she joined, as illustrated in the chart below.

Arsenal were playing catch up and boy did she help make that happen.

She has helped put Arsenal in a position to rival the richest European clubs for financial power. In fact, in big part thanks to her incredible work on the commercial side, Arsenal will post the Premier League’s all-time record revenue in Financial Year 2026 (yes, more than Manchester City has ever recorded).

No two ways about it - losing her is a massive blow. I can only hope that the Board is weighing up some major executive appointments to the club. Ideally, incredibly competent and capable heavy hitters who can help the club commercially and strategically.

Regardless, Juliet Slot deserves her flowers and the gratitude of Arsenal fans everywhere 💐💐💐

@TFG_Football Future technically sound sneaky athletic right guard 😜

[Oliver Slot @UKDetLion]

@FBallAnalysisYT The Bears will be held back by Caleb's inability to play within structure
