Members of the UKHO have helped reveal the intricate details of an underwater seamount and a new steep ridge near the Turks and Caicos Islands.
As hydrographic experts, we are proud to support the @BlueBeltProgramme's Beyond The Reef expedition.
Look at this seamount and ridge we mapped on the Gentry Bank, in the Turks and Caicos Islands!
The existing chart, created in the 1980's, suggested something was there. But there was no indication of such a continuously prominent ridge in this area!

Working with @shom_fr and multiple ECDIS manufacturers, we're testing S-100 data standards on real vessels, with real mariners, across operationally challenging routes.
