By 13 votes to 2, the International Court of Justice issued an order calling on Israel to "immediately halt" its military operation in Rafah.

To give you a sense of the court's utter lack of impartiality:
➡�� The president of the court is Lebanese Judge Nawaf Salam who has a well recorded history of making anti-Israel statements
➡️ In 2015 he wrote about Israel, “Unhappy birthday to you, 48 years of occupation.”
➡️ When he served as Lebanon’s ambassador to the UN, Salam routinely denounced Israel

This is Zlata, she was only 4. She died yesterday in the hospital after a missile attack on Odesa on April 29. Doctors fought for her life to the last. Today I am in Kharkiv.

Why are Russian "sources" suddenly telling the media that Putin is willing to halt the war at the current battle lines? It’s simple.

Putin is desperately trying to derail the Peace Summit in Switzerland on June 15–16. He is scared of its success. His entourage sends these phony signals of alleged readiness for a cease-fire despite the fact that Russian troops continue to brutally attack Ukraine while their missiles and drones rain down on Ukrainian cities and communities.

Putin currently has no desire to end his aggression against Ukraine. Only the principled and united voice of the global majority can force him to choose peace over war. This is what the Peace Summit is intended to achieve. This is why he is so afraid of it.

And this is why it is critical to have as many leaders as possible from all continents and parts of the world present. When the entire world speaks out in support of restoring the full force of the UN Charter and international law, Russia will be forced to choose peace.

Today, we mark 80 years since the deportation of the Crimean Tatars and commemorate victims of this genocide.

Only with the weakening of the then Moscow authorities and the restoration of Ukraine's independence were the Crimean Tatars able to establish the truth about the crime of genocide—the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people—at the state level and resume their normal lives in Crimea.

Until 2014, Crimea was a truly happy home for many of our people, and it will be again—certainly—when the strength of our resilience, weapons, diplomacy, and the power of justice for Ukraine ensure Crimea's liberation from occupation.

The peninsula, which is destined to become one of Europe's best places to live, will be exactly that. Without Russia.
