Started my Stocks & Shares ISA.
£12,000 → £12,752 in ~1 month.
+£752 (+10.7%)
Good start but this isn’t about one month.
It’s about what this becomes in 10–20 years.
Documenting everything from here.
@NYCMayor The focus is always on the wealth created.
Rarely on the jobs created, industries transformed, taxes paid, and value delivered that led to it.
You don’t have to like Elon Musk to acknowledge that
@brianeskow The bigger question isn’t what effect Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire has on my life.
It’s what effect Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink and the thousands of jobs they’ve created have on millions of lives.
Wealth is often a by-product of creating value at scale.
Whether you like Elon Musk or not, it’s hard to argue he hasn’t benefited millions of people:
• Accelerated the adoption of electric vehicles through Tesla
• Built SpaceX, dramatically reducing launch costs
• Created Starlink, providing internet to remote areas and disaster zones
• Supported communications in Ukraine via Starlink
• Employs hundreds of thousands of people directly and indirectly
• Helped create wealth for countless employees and investors
• Pushed innovation in batteries, AI, robotics and space technology
• Inspired a generation of engineers, entrepreneurs and scientists
You can criticise Elon Musk. You can disagree with Elon Musk.
But saying he’s done nothing to benefit others ignores reality.

@WealthMechanic1 That’s exactly it. There’s no universal answer. My focus right now is maximising capital through my ISA while keeping the flexibility to buy when the right opportunity comes along.
