Why are the NHS wasting our money paying for others who don’t speak English?

A senior whistleblower, who has spent decades in the NHS, has told me how foreign patients who refuse to speak English often get priority from certain NHS trusts.

Why?

Because the translators are incredibly expensive, so management speed up the patient through the queue.

This may reduce cost, but it is utterly scandalous.

There is a simple solution.

Scrap ALL foreign language translation/interpretation costs in the NHS.

If you live in England, you speak English.

Not complicated.

Just watched on BBC news the plight of a woman with three children moving from Hotel to Hotel and finally to a flat. Not once was a father mentioned or involved ..She keeps having Children despite her circumstances.. I was surprised at her attitude that she was entitled to a home
