The reason why the race fell apart is not the times, it was the amount of horses all running at the same pace up front. No horse was fast enough to pull away & about 8-10 horses bunch up front. I discussed how this scenario was likely and Renegade & Golden Tempo would be the horses that would benefit from this setup.
