The Jinja cohort is part of the nation wide UNBS media training that started in Kampala last week, was in Mukono and Mbale this week and is expected in Mbarara and Gulu next week.

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards is hosting a Standards and Metrology training with journalists in Eastern Uganda.
The training happening now at Mbale Resort Hotel, is aimed at enlightening the journalists about the UNBS mandate and services, to ensure accurate reporting of Quality, Standards and Metrology related issues, as well as UNBS efforts in attaining the ten-fold growth strategy.
The National Training of journalists that started in Kampala last week, is ongoing in Mbale, Mukono and Jinja this week, and is expected to be held in Mbarara and Gulu, next week.

📌The training equipped journalists with knowledge & practical skills to strengthen reporting on standards and metrology related issues, certification & quality.
