If I never say anything else on this platform, art aside, let it be this
Tell your loved ones and friends how much you love them, even if it's not by much...you never know if you'll get the chance to do it again
I wanted to throw another anxiety episode, but no...fuck that...
You may seem stuck, but you're doing much better than you think you are. It may look hard and sometimes you feel like you lost your way...
But keep your head up...just remind yourself that you're on your way :)
It's like a neverending cycle of wanting to reset and start from square one or try and move forward and be stuck in square two....
Is this what VAs go through on the start of their journey?
You know...for as hard as I am on myself? I'm slightly ahead than I give myself credit for...
Got a mic, building a booth, landed some roles from auditions I did for fun, taking lessons with a pro VA...I shouldn't focus on the later, live in the now...
...but yet...
It's not about how much you put into it...it's about what you do with it. Each step forward is one where you weren't before...don't fear it, be proud of it...
Now how the heck do I soundproof this thing!?
@KevinARiveraVO I wanna get into VA to hopefully one day get into dubbing anime or games, prove to myself that this venture was the right choice and I did this for me.
And especially one day be able to tell a fan that it might be hard work, but one day they can be a pro VA too.
Well I feel like my heart was just ripped out of my chest and crushed in front of my eyes...
Dragon Ball Z was my first anime growing up and without Toriyama, I'm probably not the person I am today...
R.I.P. to the OG, Akira Toriyama
So...small life update...tested the mic and it was...unique...I'm not terrible, but I still got some work to do...shot out some auditions...worth a try even if nothing comes of it, right?
I mean I learned to draw over a year and some change, and this is a far bigger and daunting task for me...but hey, we'll never know until I try, right?
Big shoutout to @KaijiTang and @KaggyFilms for the advice and pointers to start
So...let's begin...shall we?
So...if you had told me short of three years ago that starting a seemingly meaningless sword collection would be the foundation of a possible VA career for me? I'd have balked and told you "in your dreams"...but after today? Maybe it's possible...

Unrelated note to the arts, but I personally met this man during 30 for 30. Unified a whole nation of fans together during that month and 1000% deserved it.
LET'S FREAKIN' FRACKIN GOOOOOOOOOOO!
@tomgrossicomedy
The best advice I got this year that I've been comfortable doing what I have for so long...and wanting to try something new makes me uncomfortable...
I'm very uncomfortable with the new...and I'm okay with that..
