Working on a modulation visualizer for the dual VCO voice card I designed sometime back. I think this could be useful to highlight the functionality. Still a ways to go in design.
I got tired of nobody being able to try the Pole Dancer, so I created VCV Rack *native* version. No hardware required. Submitted to the Rack library, hoping it gets accepted sometime soon.
This just gets better. The Pole Dancer's toolset now includes a viewer for Bode plots or Pole/Zero display of the filter mode. Crank the resonance and watch the filter poles approach the imaginary axis on the s-plane. Or, with the X & O's use it to come up with football plays!
No audio here, but visually just watching the filter change state is great eye candy. Analog filter, VCV Rack control. #Zoxnoxious#eurorack

Starting work on a visualizer for the #Zoxnoxious synth's Pole Dancer filter. This goes with the Personality module. Personality defines the pole-mixing coefs. The "Peeping Tom" visualizes the freq response. ok ok, name is up for reconsideration. Super cool to see this!
I was surprised at how well AI took a description of a fairly complicated synth module and did a decent job at wireframing it. A bit much boxing/silkscreen/explanations but it's very much on the right track.
Finished some custom latching buttons for this design. Used a medium size latching button for the oscillator while the output interface uses slightly smaller buttons for its routing section. Final element will be to replace the VCV Rack default sliders.
And I get it too. The old looks simpler. It's the same functions under the hood. The new one looks like it needs a manual. The second has a Fischer Price "my first VCO" simple feel. Which is good and bad.
@ArtyG38085@exQUIZitely I was originally put off as too much of a departure from Qix. Gave it some more plays. It's really good. Volfield is to Qix what Arkanoid is to Breakout.
